NOLA DOGS Charitable Giving, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and raises money for no kill animal rescue organizations in South Louisiana. NOLA DOGS was formed by JoAnne Casey, owner of Alice and Amelia. Our biggest fundraisers are the NOLA Dogs Race to the Rescue 5K and the NOLA Dogs Auction.

NOLA DOGS "RACE TO THE RESCUE" 5K RUN/WALK
NOLA DOGS Race to the Rescue is an annual 5K Walk/Run held on the grounds of Heaven's Pets in Lake Lawn Metairie Cemetery in New Orleans. A ton of morning fun, it includes a Second Line Dog Parade, a 5K, food and fun and a Blessing of the Pets. The 5K is for two legged creatures only. Pets may participate in the Dog Parade and the Blessing of the Pets. This race can be done virtually as well.
This event is a fundraiser for animal rescue in South Louisiana. Our organization is all volunteer and we encourage everyone that can to participate and to help us raise money. Get a team together, set a fundraising goal and let's protect the animals that need our help!
